So what will the role involve? Think Facebook pages, Business Twitter accounts, Image creation and Spending time on Instagram & Pinterest! If successful you'll be working on some very exciting and industry leading accounts, providing a first class social media content and strategy for a variety of businesses.

Career Opportunities at Greenhouse Media

Here at Greenhouse Media we are recruiting for four separate positions across all our departments. Take a look below to see if you could be a candidate:

Telesales Executive:

An excellent marketing opportunity has become available here! We require an experienced telesales executive to become a part of our friendly, growing team. A good basic salary will be provided with the addition of an uncapped commission structure.
For the right candidate, this role could also open up a world of new opportunities to expand your marketing skills. If you are successful in this role we will then look to offering training to become one of our field sales executives!

Junior Web Designer:

Essential Skills – Experience in using WordPress, HTML, CSS and FTP.
Desirable Skills – Experience with PHPmyadmin and Photoshop. 

Good communication skills are necessary as the role will involve liaising with clients face to face and on the telephone on a regular basis.

Search Engine Optimisation Consultants:

This role will focus on optimizing websites for a broad range of clients. We are looking for someone who will create and edit unique content, write creative and interesting blog posts and liaise with clients on a day to day basis.
You will be an account manager for various clients and will need to produce monthly reports for them on the progress of their account using Google Analytics. Full training will be given. Great grammar, punctuation, creativity and proof reading skills are a must, as well as the ability to work towards deadlines. 

The following skills are desirable:

• Experience in using Google Analytics

• Experience in using Wordpress

Social Media Consultants:

This role will include setting up Social media accounts for our clients who come from a variety of industries and backgrounds, as well as creating and posting unique and interesting content for them. The role will also involve dealing with Instagram and Pinterest platforms as well as generating meaningful engagement on accounts such as increasing Likes, Comments and Followers.

Social Media is a very rewarding career and we are looking for someone who has an interest in this area as well as a passion for writing. Strong grammar, punctuation and proof reading skills are also a must.

The following skills are desirable:

• Experience in using multiple social platforms

• Versatile writing skills (writing rich content that abides by restrictive character limits)

Friyay!

 We've somehow made it through the first working week of the year! It's been hard adjusting back to getting up while it's still dark and having lots of emails to sort through, so although we've been consuming a few extra coffees here and there to speed us through, we're all really loving being back!

As a team we all get on really well and bounce of each others ideas and enthusiasm. We've had lots of new clients join us at the end of last year so it's great to be backing working on their accounts; Building them a great website and providing them first class SEO and Social Media packages.

We reckon you've probably felt the difference after sometime off, so we've come up with 3 fun things to do this weekend; we hope they cheer you up! We sourced some of the images for this post from Pinterest, so make sure you check out our profile here

1. A film day

 Pretty self explanatory! First get your onesie on (we totally recommenced Onesie Store for this - you can even get them personalised!) then grab a blanket or duvet and a nice hot drink before settling down to a lazy afternoon of all your favourite films.

2. Explore a new coffee shop

If you fancy going out but just don't have the money for a big meal or shopping trip so why not choose to explore a new coffee shop or tea house?  Most places will only set you back a couple of quid and it's a great opportunity to catch up with friends, work on a side project or just relax and let the world go by. Everything that January brings can leave you feeling blue, so seek out a new little gem to perk yourself up.

3.Start a scrapbook/memory journal
 

 If 2014 was a great year for you make sure you document it! If it wasn't and you're hoping 2015 will be your year, start collating photos & bit and pieces from great occasions so you can turn them into a scrapbook or memory journal. The one above is a book created by our Social Media Consultant Jess - You can see it on her Instagram account here. Although it's totally cheesy, we love the simple handmade look. We've asked Jess for more detail on how to create it so she'll be back with a blog post on it soon. In the meantime, start saving tickets, photographs and and anything you want to scrapbook.

Hip Hip Hooray!

Today is our first team birthday of 2015!

We are quite lucky that birthday's here are quite spaced out, so we're never too overloaded with cake. We are also really lucky that this year we've gained an extra day annual leave for our birthday, so we can have a nice day of celebrating, shopping or just relaxing!

Today's birthday is the turn of Lucy who is our SEO Team leader. She is the go to girl for blog writing, google analytic translations or just a friendly face. Lucy really loves working in SEO as she loves being able to help other businesses climb their way up the search engines! Welcome to our new blog!

Hello all and a Happy New Year to you! 

We are starting 2015 by introducing our new Blog, From the Greenhouse!

We already have two blogs which we use for showcasing our clients (You can find them here and here) but we wanted to create something a little different to let you discover a little bit more about us as a company.

Here will we be posting a wide range of content, from some great tips on how to improve your social media - see #SocialMediaMondays coming up over on our Social Media feeds like Facebook, Twitter & Instagram over the next next weeks, to web design basics, competitions, staff interviews, and even some current news stories.
